Pray for great results

This will be a very busy week for our family as we are getting ready to go to Durham, NC for the next few months. Susana’s stem cell transplant will be done in a few weeks, Lord willing. But this week we have a series of scans scheduled at Mission Hospital in Asheville to check her progress so far.

Please keep her in your prayers. We are asking the Lord that the scans will show no evidence of tumors. We are also asking Him that she will be strong during the months ahead while she is going through the stem cell transplant and even beyond that. Pray that her body will not reject the cells since they are her own cells. And pray that we will have the endurance to move forward one step at the time.

We are so thankful to all of you. This past week we met face to face with so many of you who shared that you have been praying for us. I was truly overwhelmed. Overwhelmed by your love for us. We are thankful to God to put it in your hearts to lift up our family to His throne. What a blessing it was to meet you!  Thank you! Thank you for loving much.–Maria

  1. Praying for all of you right now. May you feel the Lord giving you strength and courage as you go through all of the testing this week.

    Psalm 121:1-2
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains, from whence shall my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

I am always comforted by the Lord when I just look at all He created! The full moon here in Georgia this weekend was just gorgeous! I hope you were able to see it in NC. He is an amazing God and able to take care of your sweet girl!

  2. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Praying that you get a good report on the ct scans and Susana comes through the stem cell transplant well. Keep the faith!

  3. I am blown away by how Great a God we serve!! He is our strong tower, help, deliverer and comfort, when the storms come. He shows such mercy and faithfulness, even when our prayers may not be always answered the way we would like them to be. God is in control, and I stand in awe at His work in our lives. My family and I will be in continual prayer for your precious family! My daughter handed me a note that she wrote to Susana. I will send it today. May God continue to provide for your needs the upcoming months and beyond, and provide the strength, discernment, wisdom, safety, and comfort and peace you all need. May God give the doctors and other medical personel great wisdom, discernment, and gentle, tender hearts and hands to help meet 100% of Susana’s needs. May Susana have the peace that surpasses all understanding, strength to endure, comfort, protection, no adverse reactions to any of the treatments, excellent and positive results to the scans this week and the upcoming treatments, and a smooth recovery. May you all be held up in the arms of our soveriegn and powerful God, who can do immeasureably more than we can imagine. “The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; Your love, O Lord endures forever…” Psalm 138:8

“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence? If I go up to the heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in the depths, You are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast.” Psalm 139: 7-10

“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16b

“We wait in hope for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His Holy name. May Your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in You.” Psalm 33:20-22

May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon you…

    God Bless you all,

    Rebecca
